Chapters are the beating heart of EWB. Across Canada chapter members are taking thoughtful and strategic actions to create profound social change in their universities, companies, and communities.

EWB Western is a student organization at Western University. We are a vibrant community of students, professionals, and fellows, with a unique approach to global development – addressing root causes to create lasting change.

At EWB Western, we currently have 4 portfolios: Sustainability, Equity, Youth Engagement, and Marketing.

Portfolio goals:

Sustainability - To promote and practice environmental sustainability solutions that address climate change, biodiversity loss, resource depletion, and pollution.

Equity - To tackle some of the root causes and consequences of social inequality and injustice in the world, such as poverty, racism, and sexism.

Youth Engagement- To inspire and empower the next generation of engineers and leaders to tackle global challenges and opportunities.

Marketing - To increase the visibility, recognition, and reputation of EWB among the campus, local, national, and international audiences.
